Alyssa Haddad-Chin (she/her) is an Upstate NY born, Brooklyn-based, Arab-American playwright, educator, and arts administrator.

Her work has been presented and developed with The Playwrights Realm, NYTW, Moxie Arts NY in residence at WP Theater, B Street Theatre, The Workshop Theater, Art House Productions, The Athena Project, and many more. She is the Company and Community Manager at Target Margin Theater and worked for legendary costume designer Bob Mackie for nearly a decade.

She is the current playwright-in-residence at SPARC New Voices and has taught writing workshops with Art House Productions, First Kiss Theatre Company, Circle World Arts, In Full Color Productions, and is a graduate of the Teaching Artist Project.

She has served as a script reader for The Playwrights Realm, B Street Theatre, Art House Productions, Breaking & Entering Theatre Collective, and SPARC New Voices.

She is a member of the Fled Collective and the Dramatists Guild of America and holds an MFA from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts.
